Installing a sink faucet is not a difficult task. You can certainly handle the faucet installation yourself by following these steps!
Not all renovation work requires hiring specialists. Some of these activities we can easily do ourselves
Step 1: Make sure that the water supply to the area where the faucet is to be installed is closed.
Step 2: Screw the connection hoses that will supply the water into the faucet. There should be two gaskets on the ends of the hoses. Tighten the hoses with a wrench until you feel resistance.
Step 3: Screw the retaining screws with double threads into the body of the faucet.
Step 4: Place an o-ring between the faucet and the basin – for most bathroom faucets, the o-ring should be embedded under the underside of the faucet or in the faucet stand.
Step 5: Place the prepared mixer in the hole in the basin.
Step 6: Place a rubber washer on the mounting screws located under the basin bowl, and a metal washer on top of the rubber washer. Finally, screw the last smallest nuts onto the mounting bolts
Remember to tighten all parts until you can feel the resistance, over tightening can damage the basin!
